COVID-19: Important information for your stay at our hotel

Ladies and gentlemen,
dear guests,

We take your safety and well-being, as well as the one of our employees, as our utmost priority; therefore we have implemented and adhere to the highest standards of safety, hygiene and disinfection to address COVID-19 in collaboration with international medical experts and following the recommendations of the Robert-Koch Institute and the current Corona ordinance of the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein. Please note that the federal regulations are subject to constant change, therefore all information on this website is without guarantee. We try to keep the information as up-to-date as possible.

An overview of our measures to ensure the safety of our guests and employees in the different hotel areas:


Who is authorised to stay at our hotel?

Persons who are (fully) vaccinated, recovered or (negatively) tested are authorised to travel. The test certificate must not be older than 24 (antigen test) or 48 hours (PCR test). If you stay for several days, you are required to retest every 72 hours. Persons with certified proof of full vaccination or recovery, as well as children up to 6 years of age are exempt from the test requirement.

What is the maximum number of people allowed in one hotel room?

Persons of one household regardless of the number of people; in case of persons of one household together with persons of another household a maximum of 5 persons are allowed in one room (children under the age of 14 years are not counted).

Is the wearing of a mask mandatory in the hotel?

The wearing of a surgical mask is mandatory at all times in all public hotel areas.

Is there the possibility of digital contact tracing?

Yes digital contact tracing in our hotel is carried out via the luca app.

Further measures taken by the hotel:

  • Information on the duty to wear a mask, minimum safety distances is posted in all public hotel areas.
  • Disinfectant dispensers are available in all public hotel areas.
  • Public areas are cleaned and disinfected at an increased frequency.
  • To protect both our guests and our employees, the front desk is fitted with plexiglass panes.
  • The front desk area is lined with clearly visible markings to maintain the minimum safety distance.
  • At breakfast, tables are allocated by table number and set timeslots.
  • A one-way system is in in place for the breakfast buffet in the restaurant.
  • The restaurant remains closed for dinner until further notice.
  • In order to minimise contact points and transmission routes, your room is only entered for cleaning after check-out. If you would like to have cleaning inbetween, please reach out to our front desk staff.


We serve our usual breakfast buffet in our restaurant, adhering to the safety distance and one-way system. No table booking required.

Breakfast times:

  • Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday 6:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Hotel bar

Due to the current regulations, our hotel bar remains closed until further notice. Beverages are available at the front desk 24/7.

Room service

Due to the current situation we do not offer room service until further notice.

Due to the current regulations, we do not offer half board until further notice.
